Lisay Construction: Building Futures with Local Talent

We, at Lisay Construction, recognize that our hires are our treasure.

They constitute the backbone of our operations, and each successful project happens through them.

We take great pride in hiring from the local community in the area of a project. Through employing local talent, we provide direct opportunities to the areas where our projects are located; it builds strong relationships in the community and ensures everybody feels proud to be contributing to something good right at home.

Over the course of our operations for over three years (make it four if we’re going to include our predecessor company – Licast Construction), we have hired more than 100 hard-working, skilled and non-skilled people who have found jobs with us over the years, and had a hand in bringing our visions to life.

We understand that a dedicated workforce needs the right support to perform at their best.

To make reporting to work convenient and stress-free, we provide logistical arrangements that cover weekly transportation needs. Our Safety Officer and Timekeeper serves as the driver who picks up our workers at designated pickup points before reporting to the project site on a weekly basis.

We also provide lodging facilities to ensure our employees have a safe and comfortable place to stay during the workweek. This way, our people wouldn’t have to worry about commuting back and forth – especially with the dire traffic situation in Metro Manila and Greater Manila Area. Such provisions reflect our commitment to prioritizing the welfare of our people and creating an environment where they can thrive.

On top of this, we pay our people on a weekly basis, thus providing them with a stable source of income. But we do not only stop there. We continue to give back to our team in the best ways possible.

For instance, we give our employees higher rates than the minimum wage stipulated by the Labor Code as a form of our gratitude for their work. It not only helps our people and their families financially but also shows our commitment to fair treatment, respect, and equality at work.

This motivates them to do better and go the extra mile. This translates to the quality of our work done.
